Iโ€™m a professional guitarist. I make my living playing guitar. Iโ€™ve been doing it for almost 30 years now, and during that time Iโ€™ve had some amazing experiences on the instrument.

Iโ€™ve played in front of thousands of people, including many of the worldโ€™s greatest guitarists, and Iโ€™ve been lucky enough to be able to play with them. But there are also times when Iโ€™m alone in the studio, just me and my guitar, and those are some of the most memorable moments I have as a musician.

I started thinking about these moments recently, as I was packing up my gear to go work at a new studio. It got me thinking about all the great moments Iโ€™ve had on guitar over the years, and what they meant to me. So I decided to write this blog post about those moments and share them with you.

The guitar is one of the most popular musical instruments in the world, and certainly one of the most loved. Itโ€™s a versatile instrument that can be used to play any genre of music and can be played in any setting, from a small group of friends around a campfire to an arena full of people.

The list weโ€™ve put together below features some of the most iconic moments in guitar history, but itโ€™s not an exhaustive list by any means. Weโ€™ve tried to focus on moments when the guitar became an icon in its own right, or when it was used to create a moment that changed the course of music history.
