I was born and raised in San Diego, California. After high school I attended Grossmont College where I played football and focused on my studies. It was there that I discovered my passion for building things with my hands. Over the years I have worked in many different industries as an engineer, designer, builder, welder and machinist. These experiences helped me gain valuable knowledge that influenced my approach to building steel guitars. We build our instruments out of the highest grade materials available and incorporate thoughtful details that make our guitars fun to play and easy to maintain.

Our instruments are handcrafted by our small team of talented craftsmen in Southern California with decades of combined experience building some of the finest musical instruments in the world. We take great pride in every aspect of our work from design to manufacture. Every instrument we make is unique and built-to-order for you or your client by one of our skilled craftsmen here at Steel Guitar Builder.

The National steel guitar is the only one we’ve heard where the bar actually makes a sound when you play it. It’s not loud, but it’s a beautiful sound that resonates within the body of the guitar. The resophonic guitar was invented as a way to amplify acoustic guitars that were having trouble competing with louder instruments such as banjos and horns .[ citation needed ] The design uses a cone-shaped metal resonator (made from several different alloys ) in place of the wooden soundboard that an acoustic guitar uses .[ citation needed ] This allows it to produce volume 16 times greater than that of an acoustic guitar .[ citation needed ] The resonator creates a characteristic metallic tone , similar to

Steel guitars are an unusual type of instrument that has been around for more than a century. A steel guitar is a guitar with a steel bar instead of strings. The steel bar is used to slide up and down the frets to make different notes.

The first time I heard about a steel guitar was when I was in grade school and my brother was watching TV with his friend. He told his friend that he wanted to be a rock star, but his friend said that he would never make it because he couldn’t play the steel guitar.

I didn’t know what they were talking about, so I asked them what the steel guitar was and they said it was something you could use to make music. After that I didn’t give it much thought until one day when I saw one in a musical instrument store. It looked like it might have been made out of some kind of metal but wasn’t sure so I asked the salesman about it and he told me that it’s actually made from wood with a thin coat of lacquer on it so that you can see through it.

He also told me how to play one: You just slide your finger along the fretboard until you hear whatever note you want. So after listening for awhile, I decided I wanted to learn
