How to Play Guitar in 7 Easy Steps: a blog about learning guitar from the basics to advanced techniques.

When you first learn how to play guitar, it can be frustrating trying to remember all the chords. Memorizing all those shapes is hard! But if you want to be able to jam with others and play your favorite songs, then you will need to learn them.

Here are 7 easy tips that will help you memorize all those chords faster:

1) Play the song over and over again. Don’t just practice it once or twice. The more you play it, the easier it will be for your brain to absorb it. Once you have memorized one song completely, move onto the next one so that your brain doesn’t forget what was learned previously.
