Question Answer
What inspired you to start writing and singing country music? My most early influences were all the women of 90s country. I remember listening to the radio and CDs in my parents’ minivan with my family and it was always Shania Twain, JoDee Messina, Faith Hill, Dixie Chicks, etc.
Have you had any formal training in guitar or singing? No, I’ve only had a few months of guitar lessons and never had formal vocal training.

Analisa Marie’s process for writing songs is often inspired by random ideas that strike her at any time. She keeps a running list of ideas in her phone and will often write songs in her free time. Her latest song, “Boy Mom’s Heart,” was written in her phone at 3am after both boys had been up all night.

From Shy to Stage Presence

Analisa Marie’s journey to becoming a confident performer has not been easy. As a child, she was extremely shy and would only practice singing in private. It wasn’t until she was 15 that she finally found the courage to sing in front of her family and later in high school talent shows and county fair competitions.

Her experiences on stage have been incredibly rewarding. She loves watching the crowd’s reaction to her music and seeing them sing along to her favorite cover songs. She describes the feeling after a show as “such a high,” and says that it’s a feeling she can’t explain.
