GuitarTuna Blog: The 4 Strings You Didn’t Know You Needed

When I started playing guitar, I was a big fan of Slash. His riffs were so cool, his solos so powerful. I remember thinking that he must be the best guitarist in the world. In my mind, he was untouchable.

Of course, as time went by and I started discovering other guitarists like Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai and Joe Satriani, I realized that there are many other guitarists out there who are just as good or even better than Slash (sorry Slash fans!). These guys made me realize that becoming a great guitarist wasn’t about learning a few cool riffs and solos but about mastering the fundamentals of the instrument. If you can play fast scales and arpeggios with ease or have complete command over your vibrato then you are on the right track to becoming a great guitarist. But what if you could get a little help?

What if you could use something like… strings?

That’s right. It turns out that strings make all the difference!

GuitarTuna is a custom string company for professional guitarists. We specialize in providing musicians with the best strings on the market and at the most competitive prices.

We are located in Los Angeles, California, where we work with artists including The Rolling Stones, Green Day, and Foo Fighters.

If you’re a professional guitarist, then you know how important it is to have the proper strings installed on each of your guitars. Those three little pieces of metal can make or break your career, which is why you should only use the best. You’ve heard of Slinky Strings — we know you have. You’ve probably even used them at some point in your career. Slinky Strings are good, but they aren’t good enough for the discerning guitarist. Slinky Strings are for the amateurs; if you want to impress your fans, then you need Guitartuna Strings on your guitar.

So why opt for Guitartuna Strings over other brands? Well, there are a number of reasons. The first is our custom string service. To make sure that every single one of our customers gets the best possible sound from their guitar, we tailor-make their strings to their specific needs. If you prefer bright sounds to deep ones, we’ll make sure that your strings are tailored to produce those bright sounds. If you prefer deep sounds to bright ones, we’ll make sure that your strings are tailored to produce those deep sounds instead. We’ll even analyse audio

There’s been a lot of chatter lately about the way certain strings sound and feel. It’s not just talk though. We’re seeing a revolution in the guitar string industry. Custom strings are becoming more popular by the day. The big brands are feeling the heat, and we’re loving it.

We’ve been doing custom strings for years now and we’d like to share our expertise with you. We’ll show you how to find your sound and how to take advantage of our resources to make it happen.

Before we get into that, let us tell you a little bit about ourselves. We’re a small company that has been around since 2005 and we make all of our products in the United States. We believe that by keeping everything local, we can ensure a high quality product every time. Our team is made up of professional musicians who design each set with their own personal preferences in mind. These guys really know what they’re talking about and they care about making sure every one of you love your strings as much as they do.

Our passion is finding new ways to improve our products so that musicians everywhere can play better than ever before. That’s why we’ve dedicated this blog to helping you find your sound – whatever it may be – with our products!

Today I want to talk about the two most important things you should know about your guitar strings, and how they relate to your instrument.

The first thing is tension. When you string up a new set of strings, they’re going to pull against the neck of your guitar and cause a little bit of forward bow, or concave curvature to the neck. This is normal, but what you may not know is that the higher the tension of the strings, the more bow they will create.

The second thing is scale length. The scale length of any given guitar refers to the length between the bridge and nut; in other words, it’s how long it takes for a string to vibrate from one end to the other before it starts vibrating again.

The two factors at play here are scale length and tension. Each guitar has its own unique combination of these two factors that determine its overall feel, which is why no two guitars are ever exactly alike.
