From Yerushalayim to North Jersey and South Florida

Meet Dani Shachar, a blind man from Jerusalem's Jewish Institute for the Blind, who's fixing bicycles and teaching guitar lessons with passion.

Dani's journey is one of resilience and determination, proving that with hard work and self-belief, anything is possible.

As a blind person since early childhood, Dani has developed a unique perspective and skillset that enables him to connect with children and share his story.

He will soon embark on a journey to the United States, sharing his message of resilience and determination with young minds in multiple Day Schools.

Dani's work at the JIB has not only enabled him to develop his skills but also to connect with children and inspire them to believe in themselves.

He will speak in English at various Day Schools in Bergen County and South Florida, sharing his message of perseverance and hard work.

Dani's personal experiences have shown him that with determination and passion, anything is possible, and he wants to share this message with the young minds of the United States.

His mission is to inspire and empower more than 1,000 middle school children in multiple Day Schools across Bergen County and South Florida.

You can support the JIB by visiting their website at jewishblind.org or registering for a workshop at a private home in the Teaneck area.

Dani's unwavering spirit and determination have enabled him to turn his disability into a source of strength and inspiration, mending hearts and minds along the way.
